The AKC and ESPN present "The K9 Detection Dog Challenge.” The 2-hour special was the inaugural event for the AKC where 20 officers and their dogs from all over the United States competed. The event spotlighted the best in narcotics and explosives K9 detection. Across three unique real-world environments, handler and K9 teams race to find the hide, while also sweeping the area clear of narcotics or explosive scents.
