Matt Howley | Director & Producer
Matt Howley has been a producer and director for The WorkShop Content Studios since 2008. Matt has over 20 years of TV/Film experience, with the last 10 years spent directing or producing documentary series for Netflix, Amazon, NBC Sports and GoPro.
Matt created and directed the Emmy-nominated & Realscreen award-winning documentary series Basketball or Nothing on Netflix and was the lead producer for a 10-part Novak Djokovic documentary series for Amazon Prime. In addition to his documentary work, Matt has produced series for celebrities and athletes including Adam Levine, Ray Romano, Michael Phelps, Charles Barkley, Justin Thomas and Rickie Fowler. Prior to joining The WorkShop, Matt worked for 11 years as a special projects director and supervising producer for Emmy-Award winning programs at NBC Sports Philadelphia. Matt is a graduate of La Salle University and lives in Philadelphia.
